Miami Beach police arrested the president of a condominium association after they say he was accused of taking a tenant’s dreidel wreath from her apartment door last month.

Detectives said Bali told them he took
the wreath because he had previously told the resident
multiple times that building rules do not allow items to be
placed on doors.
However, the victim told police that she was never notified
of any violation. She also said she wanted to press charges
because the wreath was a family heirloom.
The victim added that she felt “targeted” because of her
Jewish faith and that other residents have wreaths on their
doors, according to the report.
Bali was not listed as an inmate on the Miami-Dade jail
website as of Thursday afternoon. His bond information
wasn’t immediately available.
