A Villager has been placed on probation after an unlawful visit to a swimming pool in The Villages.

Last month in Lake County Court, 65-year-old Frank Scott Cordray of the Village of Orange Blossoms Gardens entered a plea of no contest to a charge of trespassing.

He had been arrested May 18 after he was caught at the Southside Pool. Cordray admitted that he was informed on April 7 that he had been banned from the swimming pool located on the Historic Side of The Villages.

In addition to probation, Cordray was ordered to perform 25 hours of community service.

In November, Cordray had been sentenced to a six-month sentence of probation following his arrest July 14, 2017 after he attempted to steal a polo shirt and jeans from Kohl’s in Lady Lake. At the time, he told police he was “heavily medicated on Naproxen and Lyrica.”
