BOCA RATON — A Boca Raton woman is terrified after a break-in at her home, especially because of what her surveillance cameras caught.

The videos show a man and a woman who was barefoot, get dropped off by a cab at Annetta Grant-Walker's home in the Mission Bay Community.

The woman is seen on video checking Grant-Walker's mail, then going to the back patio where the man had already tried three doors. The video shows the man use a pool cleaning pole to break the back bathroom door window and open the lock.

"It's an upscale neighborhood. They told me they have security, the property is secure and you will be safe here. I mean you're not safe anywhere," said Grant-Walker.

Grant-Walker said this is the second time in a year that she's been a burglary victim while living at that home. She got a call from her alarm company when she was at work Sunday.

"I was shaking. I was scared, I'm petrified," she said.

She rushed home to find her bathroom door window broken and her bedroom ransacked.

"My whole dresser was open, everything was emptied out," said Grant-Walker. "I still don't understand why? Why here? Why this property?"

She said she has an alarm service and a camera surveillance system.

"I don't know what else I can do to make myself safe," said Grant-Walker.

The burglars were seen on camera running off with bags. Grant-Walker said she thinks they stole jewelry, more importantly, a sentimental piece of jewelry that belong to her grandmother. She said after this second burglary, she hopes the HOA will consider adding a gate to the entrance of the community .

"That would make us safer. I am hoping that will, otherwise I don't know what my alternative is," said Grant-Walker.

The HOA spokesperson said they are preparing a statement in response to the incident. Anyone who recognizes the people in the surveillance video or know anything about this burglary should call the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office.
