GREENACRES — Palm Beach County deputies are looking for a suspect accused of posing as a home owners association (HOA) worker to steal from a resident.

On May 1 between 3:15 p.m. and 3:45 p.m., the suspect told the resident he needed to check and see if there were any water leaks in the home, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Once the resident stepped out of the room, the suspect rummaged through her personal property, and stole her prescription medication and jewelry, authorities say.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477) or submit an anonymous tip through the PBSO app.
