This is the important part of the meeting for us, the owners -- the people who are expected to pay the outrageous insurance premiums. Considering the membership of the Committee, I'm wondering, “Was this Committee established for the same purpose as the Destination Florida Commission ?" That clearly had been a make-citizens-feel-good committee, with lots of "great" recommendations -- but no action. We owners just can't afford another one of these "committees" like quoted here:

"Anybody who makes the decision to create a task force sounds a lot like what Congress routinely does to make a hot issue go away -- appoint a commission to study the problem to death and then ignore its recommendations."

So make your voice heard and let the members of the committee know:

WHATEVER YOU DO, STOP THIS FINANCIAL DISASTER! Property Insurance Premiums and Property Tax are killing us!
