STATE REPRESENTATIVE JULIO ROBAINA TO
HOST INSURANCE PUBLIC HEARING / IDEARAISER
MIAMI – State
Representative Julio Robaina (R – Miami) and Keri Rayborn from
Rayborn Consultants will host a public hearing in Miami- Dade
County. Insurance professionals alongside state legislators will be
on the panel to discuss insurance problems and what can be done to
resolve this crisis. The public hearing will take place on:
Saturday August 19, 2006 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
at Coral Gables High School Auditorium

Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation,
Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, Florida League of Cities,
Florida Condominium Ombudsman Office, Independent Insurance Agents
of Dade County, Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies,
National Association of Professional Allstate Agents, Independent
Insurance Agents of Palm Beach County, Independent Insurance Agents
of Broward County, Florida Realtors Association, local county and
city elected officials will be present along with Speaker
Designate Marco Rubio (R – Miami), State Representative
Juan C. Zapata (R – Miami), State
Representative Susan Goldstein (R-Miami), State Representative Dan
Gelber (D–Miami) and State Representative Julio
Robaina (R – Miami) who have pledged to stand behind all
families, businesses and homeowners to tackle the insurance crisis
in Florida.
This forum will be for
the citizens and elected officials of Miami Dade-County, Broward
County, Monroe County and Palm Beach County to present their ideas
for possible solutions relating to the insurance crisis in the State
of Florida.
