We should support this bill.

The bill relates to wind certification entities, hurricane mitigation inspector  requirements on inspection, and grant applications, mitigation grant eligibility, grant matching and maximum grant amount, mitigation projects and  use of grant funds, contracts, and  annual report.  Not only the knowledge, but the financial remedies will be invaluable to members of the Association.

I think this part of this initiative program is already in effect for Florida homeowners of single-family houses or townhomes to apply for free home hurricane inspection report to assist homeowners so they can make repairs to protect their property from storm damage, and to how apply for grant funding to for such improvements, with the goal of lowering insurance costs.
