CHAPTER XI

• Association emergency powers: Line 2515 – 2533

The bill amends the association emergency powers under s.718.1265(h), by adding the term “mandatory” before an evacuation order in the locale in which the condominium is located.  In addition, the bill deletes the term “should any” replacing it with the term “if a” unit owner or other occupant of a condominium fails or refuses the association is immune from liability or injury to persons or property arising from such failure or refusal.
