Lauderhill condo residents voice concerns about armed security guards

There is a growing concern among the owners of a Lauderhill apartment complex called the Castle Gardens Condominiums that the association has hired gun-toting security guards for "protection." The security guards are armed like SWAT officers and -- according to the residents, rather antagonize people instead of keeping the peace. This 55+ Community hired last year a new security company and the fact that they are running around the community heavily armed obviously scare quite a few of the elderly residents. Some residents of the Castle Gardens condominium complex feel they're being held hostage by a group of badge-wearing, gun-toting, wannabe police officers. They're actually security guards for a company called Elite Tactical Services, which was hired by the condo board last year.
