BOCA RATON, Fla. -- - Residents in the Loggers' Run neighborhood woke up on Monday to quite a bubbly surprise and foamy mess after someone dumped several bottles of dish soap in a nearby waterfall.
Witnesses said the prank sent car-sized chunks of bubbles onto Palmetto Park Road, where drivers had to swerve or slow down to dodge the foam.
"I thought maybe it was like fake ice or something. But when I got closer, I saw that it was kind of moving and I was like, 'nope, it's soap suds.'" said Joyce Seays who was on her way to work when she saw the mess.
Just feet away from the mess, several empty bottle of dish soap could be seen scattered near the waterfall. |

"If it would have gone in front of me, covering my windshield, I would have panicked," said Seays.
The bubbles did not just create a road hazard for several drivers. The prank could prove costly to clean up from the waterfall.

Loggers' Run neighborhood management estimates it will cost several hundred dollars to drain, scrub and repair the damage that was done.
The community HOA sent out a report confirming "the potential liability involved" and that the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office was called in to help redirect traffic.
Seays said the bubbly joke could have turned sour.
"Be more careful. I mean, you have people that are driving on the highway trying to get to work. That could be dangerous," said Seays. |

Loggers' Run management said a crew will assess the damages Tuesday.
