Can't pay special assessments from teacher's salary

"On a teacher's salary you can't afford to pay the special assessments levied by a condo association," said Angela Layman.

Her association, the LAKE VILLAS CONDOMINIUM, INC. in Altamonte Springs asked her to pay special assessments totaling nearly $11,000.

 

Condo owners complain that their associations are out of control and force them to sell their condos!

 

Lack of reserves force associations to levy special assessments -- assessments owners can't afford!
