NAPLES, FL - An upscale condominium in North Naples is
claiming beach front property that belongs to the county, according to
officials.
Beachgoers at Bluebill
Beach say Moraya Bay Condominiums is blocking off access to
the beach.
"It just seemed suddenly when season rolled around there
were more of these white cones and white chairs trying to
deter people from what they think is their beach," said Tom
Owczarski.
Graham Ginsburg snapped a picture of beach chairs set up in
front of the condominium on Friday. Other beach goers say
the chairs were there Monday. By the time our cameras
arrived the chairs were gone.
"The purpose is to mark their territory," said Ginsburg.. |
