FORT LAUDERDALE – Residents of a Hollywood condominium complex allege that the association has failed to make repairs to the property.

Betsy Sarafan, Renee Maimone, Linda Mendola, Richard Coelho, et al. filed a complaint on June 7 in the 17th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Broward County against Countryside Condominium Association Inc., SPF Roofing Systems Inc. and Elite Management Associates Inc. alleging negligence and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that the defendants have let the complex fall into disrepair. They allege it has leaking roofs, water damage, rodent infestation and growth of mold.

The plaintiffs hold Countryside Condominium Association Inc., SPF Roofing Systems Inc. and Elite Management Associates Inc. responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain the premises in good repair.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendants for damages, costs, attorney's fees and further relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Richard F. Hussey of Richard F. Hussey PA in Fort Lauderdale.
