LAUDERHILL,
Fla. -- A couple in Lauderhill woke up Thursday
morning to the sound of rain inside their bathroom.
"I
woke up at 5:30 this morning and I found my bathroom completely under
water," Sophia Kurtz said. "That was very devastating to us."
Several buckets and plastic
containers were quickly filled with water as the rain kept pouring in.
"It's like a waterfall," Ricky Kurtz said.
"It was just pouring down," Sophia said.
"It was just gushing down. There was nothing I could do."
For the past month, roofers have been working on the
condos at International Village, trying to repair damage from Hurricane
Wilma.

Now, the Kurtz's condo is unlivable.
"It's a shame when all you can do is save your
shoes," Ricky said. "There's nothing we can do. We grab whatever
clothes we can grab and hope we can stay with a relative or something."
