Should This Be Our Choice for Washington?

We are seeing more negative campaign ads than anything else. What a shame! But -- like it or not -- I have to add another negative opinion: Don't vote for former State Senator Ron Klein, Candidate for the 22nd Congressional District.

This has nothing to do with party-line -- or Democrats and Republicans. This has to do with the candidate Ron Klein and what he stands for -- from the view of a homeowners' rights activist who has observed State Senator Ron Klein for many years.

Not only does Klein combine his legislative activities with serious lobbying efforts -- a clear No-No in my opinion. But he makes some of his money from the legal misfortunes of homeowners and condo owners, often elderly and without the financial means to fight for their rights!

Let's spell it out for everybody not familiar with the territory: Senator Ron Klein is a director of Sachs, Sax & Klein, a law firm that has been involved in many unfortunate association battles. Another member of this law firm, Larry Glickman, was responsible for many lawsuits that tried to force homeowners and condo owners to join mandatory golf courses all over Florida. These bitter lawsuits cost owners lots of money and didn't really help the golf courses, but forced quite a few elderly people to move against their will! Ron Klein was very aware of this problem -- and did nothing about it – aside from reaping the financial benefits!

We definitely don't want to vote for an attorney whose law firm caused many problems for our elderly citizens!

In spring of 2006 Klein "presented" us -- and the Florida legislature -- with another property insurance bill, knowing full well that this bill was doomed to fail. It was nothing but an early campaign gimmick, aimed to target the upcoming woes for Florida's homeowners and condo owners!

If you are a homeowner or condo owner living in District 22:

SERIOUS WARNING:

DON'T VOTE FOR RON KLEIN!

His actions and that of his law firm have cost many of our neighbors and fellow owners enough money, frustration and grief! Is Ron Klein the kind of Congressman we want to represent us in Washington? I don't think so! If you agree:
